Co-Founder & Chairman
Jacob Strinden started Roughrider Policy Center with the vision and drive to ensure our great state is an amazing place to live, work & raise a family. He is a fifth generation North Dakotan, graduate of the Carlson School of Management & law student at the University of North Dakota. He grew up in Fargo and has spent his summers at his family farm near Beulah.
He is a passionate advocate for North Dakota and comes from a long line of public servants. His grandfather, Earl Strinden, was the longest serving North Dakota House Majority Leader and inspired many public servants by encouraging them to "leave the woodpile higher" for future generations. Additionally, Jacob's mother Michelle Strinden is currently serving in the North Dakota House alongside his cousin, Thomas Beadle.
